Watch My Dogs and Cat in Central Scotland in late July!!

In Home Pet Sitter Required 27th July to 31st July

We live in a large home in Cumbernauld which is just 10 minutes train ride from Glasgow and 30 mins train from Edinburgh.  Nearby visit historical Stirling, Falkirk and Bannockburn, and we are not far from Loch Lomond and lots of beautiful scenery!

We have 3 Dogs – Willow (aged 9), Wolfie (aged 8) and Phoebe (aged 5) and one very bossy cat named Arnold (aged 10) who keeps them all in check.

Willow and Wolfie are well behaved German Shepherds who love a cuddle and being around their family. Our ideal Pet Sitters have experience of large dogs and can physically handle taking them for a walk.  It would be fine to walk them individually if that suits.

Phoebe is a Pomeranian and will follow you around everywhere!  She is always walked separate to the GSDs as she can suffer from yappy small dog syndrome and gets them all wound up if she meets another dog or sees a leaf blowing past!

Arnold is an outdoor cat and just needs to ensure that humans are available to feed him food (even though he has a feeder which we keep topped up) whenever he commands – he will come and find you in the house and announce his arrival!

We have a large garden with a hot tub, BBQ and decking area so you can chill out if the weather is good.  Even if it is raining we have a big overhang umbrella which fits over the hot tub so you can use it whatever the weather.

Getting around we have 2 bikes you can use and the train station is only 1 mile down the road and it serves the main rail line between Glasgow and Edinburgh. We are within walking distance of a retail park that has all the necessaries including McDonald’s, Tim Hortons, Greggs, Aldi, Marks and Spencers and Food Warehouse.

The pets are used to being at home during the day with us some days we are in (working from home) and not there other days.  They are all mature enough to know the routines and will get in and out for the toilet during the day using our dog/cat flap which leads out into the enclosed garden.
