Hi, I love animals, cats especially and Neil, my partner is a big fan of dogs. We have both owned pets for many years and currently have a British Shorthair kitten who is the cutest thing! I have taken early retirement after more than 30 years working in HR in the civil service, and Neil is a paramedic.

We live near Gedling Country Park in Mapperley in Nottingham, love walking (with and without dogs) and travelling in UK and abroad. The Greek islands are one of our favourite places, and Thailand.  We would like to do more travel in UK, across Europe, America and Australia and also welcome opportunities in London (as my daughter has just moved there).

We would like opportunities to sit together or I can do short sits on my own. Available for local drop in once or twice a day as well as overnights. Prices can be agreed when booking and range from £12 for a once a day visit and £50 for overnight stays with 2 or more pets.

I am super organised and reliable and will be up front and honest with you at all times. As your pet sitter I will – arrange an online or face to face meet and greet to get to know you and your pet/s and their needs and preferences – provide fresh water and food as often as we agree and clean the bowls and any litter trays – give any medication needed as instructed by you – enjoy playing, walking and cuddling with your pet/s if they want it – send you photos or updates if you wish – feed plants, put bins out, take deliveries, open/close curtains or any other things you would find helpful or reassuring while you are away – and I will maintain strict confidentiality at all times.

We are both DBS checked and happy to provide evidence if needed.

I cannot get the dates in here but I have had my own cat (2 for a couple of years) since the 1970s when I was a child. My last cat died in 2015 of Cancer.

I love cats and plan to get another when I move house and can have a cat flap again!

I have cared for a friend’s adopted cat while she has been on holiday over the last year or so.

I am just getting started on here so welcome the opportunity to build up my references and experience
