What Do Chihuahuas Look Like?
At first glance, all Chihuahuas look the same. But there are actually two varieties of the breed – smooth coat and long coat. Both have a distinctive apple-shaped head and large ears, with a short muzzle and almond-shaped eyes. However, long-coat Chihuahuas have longer fur that needs regular grooming, while smooth coats require less maintenance.
Size and Height
Chihuahuas are a toy breed of dog originally from Mexico. They have large eyes, pointy ears, and short coat that comes in a variety of colors. Full-grown, they usually weigh between 3 and 7 pounds and their maximum height is around 9 inches.
